Another book I poured through on my Twin Peaks obsession has been the newly released member of the Pop Classics collection. Wrapped in Plastic. Twin Peaks is the third installment in the series, and offers and very good, and very quick read on the legacy of the show. There is some information that hard core fans will already know about in there, but there is some interesting new insight as well.
I really liked how the author mentioned the humour of the show, and much of his focus is on how Twin Peaks really did change network TV, and he goes on to cite many shows that have since been influenced by our favorite small Washington town.
A very good read!
